Hand Therapy
Hand Therapy helps patients improve their hand function after an injury, surgery or from a pre-existing condition like rheumatoid osteoarthritis. Our specialists are skilled in utilizing custom orthoses, manual techniques, pain, and edema management modalities, and education in exercises and joint protection strategies to promote your recovery. At your visit, you can expect a detailed assessment and an individualized treatment plan. We work closely with your surgeon/doctor to help you return to your daily activities with better hand function. Commonly treated area's, but not limited to:- e.g trigger finger, DeQuervain’s, Dupuytren’s contracture • Strains and sprains of fingers, hands and wrists Neural Conditions (e.g Carpal Tunnel) Ligament injuries and repairs (e.g. game keeper's thumb, sagittal band injury).
